go janey. ("we," "us," or "the app") helps people discover local events in Boulder, Colorado and nearby towns. This policy explains what information we collect and how it's used.
If you create an account, we collect your email address so you can sign in. If you sign in with email, we use it to send you a one-time sign-in link. If you sign in with Apple, Apple shares your email address with us (or a private relay address, if you choose Hide My Email) and, the first time you sign in, your name if you choose to share it.
We store which events you save or mark as interested, so that information can be shown back to you in the app.
Your email is used only to authenticate you (sign you in). We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers. Saved events and profile info are used solely to power app features like your Saved list.
Event listings shown in the app are sourced from public event information (such as Google Events) and manual curation. This event data is not personal information about app users.
Account and app data is stored securely using Supabase, a third-party database provider. We do not store payment information — go janey. is a free discovery app and does not process purchases.
You can sign out at any time. You can permanently delete your account and your saved events yourself: sign in, go to Profile in the app or at gojaney.com, tap Delete Account at the bottom, and confirm. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. You can also request deletion by emailing us at support@gojaney.com.
